When Dr. Goldson Sr. purchased the Plantation practice in 1993 from another practicing physician, there was an office manager already in place, Sandi. Dr. Goldson advised the other physician that he probably would not be able to afford Sandi. The physician simply replied, "You can't afford NOT to have her." Sandi has been the office manager for the last fourteen years.
If you have questions regarding a bill, Meeka is the person you should speak with. She handles this crucial responsibility with efficiency and a smile in her voice. When she was a teenager she worked in the office after school as clerical support, now Meeka works full time as the office's Billing Specialist. She is also Sandi's daughter.
For over a year, Maxine Colebrook-Smith has worked at Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center as a Chiropractic Assistant. She also assists in managing the front office. When you visit the Plantation office chances are that Maxine's friendly face will be the first to greet you.
When we say we are a family practice we truly mean it. Desmond Goldson is a certified Chiropractic Physician's Assistant and the youngest son of Dr. Goldson Sr. He also helps out with administrative duties and has been employed with the practice for a total of three years.
Tony Goldson is Dr. Goldson Sr.'s younger brother. He joined the practice almost four years ago as a Marketing Specialist. Brittany Goldson, Tony's daughter, who is studying to become a physical therapist, works at Plantation as a part-time clerical assistant.
Thiema Goldson is Dr. Fidel Jr.'s wife. She is a journalist by trade and handles public relations for the office.
